Distributed Data Multiplexer (D2MX) is a data acquisition and control device that is capable of direct interface to sensors with varying signal levels.  This includes “low signal” sensors such as thermocouples.  D2MX modules can be networked so that data collection can be “distributed” throughout the process that is being managed which typically simplifies installation.
